Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.

I wish I posted more often on here. I usually come up with posts while i’m out and about, and sometimes even write them in my head, but then never get round to typing them out on here! =[ But yeh, I'm making myself post this even though i don't really have much time; need to finish writing a (long) email and then catch up on sleep.

(Steals idea from tom) So weekend went like this:

-friday

• 5.30pm get home from work
• do not much all evening
• 12.30am go to bed

-saturday

• 8.15am get up
• 10.09 catch train to winchester
• 12.04 arrive in winchester
• meet people and kill time until others arrive
• drop stuff off at ians
• beat drew at time crisis 4
• go ice skating! =awesomeness, but makes feet hurt
• get drunk
• *all a blur involving lots of the randomprodinc theme tune*
• fall asleep to family guy

-sunday

• constantly wake up during night because floor is VERY uncomfortable to sleep on. i still have bruises.
• play guitar hero for first time ever
• get 94% on my 2nd ever go on guitar hero
• spoon mhazz whilst we wake her up
• get subway. spare rib one looks lush, but they dont have it :[
• get shakeaway: hot fudge brownie milkshake. think it wudda been better cold, but at least it warmed me up
• steal internet from ian's uni
• 6.42pm train home
• fall asleep on train: jazmine tells me if i hadn't have woken up just before our stop, she would have been to embarrassed to wake me, and we both would have ended up in london ^_^
• 8.53 arrive home. its all over =[

I have to say, i think it was one of the best meet ups ever =] I love seeing dave at things because he doesn’t come to stuff enough.. I also love mhooozzz.. And Ian for hosting the amazingness. And everyone else, obv <3333333

Oh yeh, i had other stuff to talk about, but that took me far too long to remember/write stuff so now i need to go to bed and dont have time to finish that important email! tut.

Well, umm, I have a full time job, still need to edit video from uncliché gathering, have made loads of songs recently which i might put on here (it would help if wordpress wasnt so shit and i could embed a player).

So I monetized my latest video, a cover of a song… but I know the guy that wrote the original so all is fine.
Few days later, I get this:

Hi Epiphanized,

Thank you for submitting your videos for revenue sharing. We wanted you to confirm that you own the rights or publicity rights or have explicit permission to commercially use all video material and music, including background music, lyrics and composition on the following video(s):

Ummmm I do believe I have already confirmed that I have been given permission to monetize this video but whatever, I’ll give them what they want and once again CONFIRM THAT I HAVE the rights.

So five FUCKING LONG days later, I get this email:

Hi Doug,

Thanks for your email.

Since we haven’t been able to confirm that you have the necessary rights,
including publicity rights, to use all the video material and music
commercially, we ask that you provide written documentation substantiating
your claim. Please email us or fax us this information to +353-1-437-0655.

The document should be either a written contract between yourself and the
rights owner or a letter from the rights owner stating that you are
permitted to use their content commercially.  Please provide a signature,
along with contact information for the rights owner.  A faxed hard copy of
the document is preferable, but you may also email us the information with
an electronic signature attached.  We ask that the document also includes
the URL for the video(s) and your channel name.

Please note that we reserve the right to make the final determination on
whether to enable revenue sharing for a video. You must also respond
within 7 business days of receiving this letter or the video will be
removed from the YouTube site.

You may choose to disable revenue sharing from your video(s) until you
acquire the proper documentation.

ARGH. How retarded! Despite confirming TWICE that I indeed have rights to upload and monetize the video, Youtube Partner Support ‘haven’t been able to confirm that I have the necessary rights’ What retards! Eugh. Pisses me off. I know the guy, but I don’t want to ask him to have to write and sign a contract agreeing that I can use his content.

So I’ve now disabled revenue sharing [un-monetized?] (which i did not know you could do), but unfortunately I have no clue whether they’ll decide to delete my video when they realise in a few weeks that I never sent the signed contract o_O ..and even though this is not one of my most popular videos in terms of views/comments, I’ve had loooads of amazing feedback on the video and will be forced to re-upload if it gets taken down!

Even if they did monetize it now, what would be the point?! Its been over a week since I uploaded it: I’ve got most of my views already. TUT.

In other news, I know what PJ stands for ^_^ *WIN*

I never drive really close to the person in front of me.*

Yesterday, this woman in a volvo was following me. I don’t always stick religiously to the speed limit, but i wont usually go more than say 5mph over in a 30/40 zone. But for some reason this BITCH was really close behind and pressured me into doing 38 in a 30, and then 50 in a 40! I’ve never been one to give in to peer pressure, but i think because it was a woman that was behind me, I didn’t want to seem like a pussy driver..!

So on the next bit of road, I’d caught up with a car that was driving about 50mph in a 60mph zone. I personally would have chosen to go a little faster but was in no rush so was happy to follow behindthe guy in front. But Stupid Bitch behind me still felt it absolutely necessary to be right up my arse. So after some thought I decided to be really evil. I SLAMMED on my brakes. MUAHAHA. You should have seen the look on her face as she had to rapidly slow down to avoid hitting me (don’t worry, I’d accelerated again straight away, I wasnt gunna let her hit my car!) she almost had a heart attack. She fucking deserved it. She threw her arms in the air and then suddenly realised she was the one to blame and so backed off. GOOD. I WINZ.

(I wrote this post yesterday but didnt finish it before bed. Turns out all I did today before posting was write the last 5 words and then this little bit in between these parentheses. Tut. Cudda done that yesterday.)

*An exception being a few days ago when some retard in a people carrier went at a constant 21mph in a 30mph zone. ARGHness. I actually consider it dangerous driving. So yes, in that case, after about a minute or two, once I had realised she was driving 21mph for realz, I proceeded to drive fairly close whilest repeatedly flashing my lights and tooting at her. She deserved it. :]

Whilst walking through Sainsbury’s today having just returned from an interview at a local recruitment agency, it dawned on me: Despite knowing that I’m currently a jobless bum, I felt more important than all those casual shoppers around me.

A smart Jack Wills shirt, fashionably elegant Tommy Hilfiger shoes and smart-casual A&F jeans reinforced my seemingly arrogant posture and somehow made me feel successful.

It’s the image that we project that makes us who we are. I could be an 18-year-old on a telephone number salary, but if I wore ripped jeans and a discoloured t-shirt, people around me would simply assume I was just another student.

Turn up to the check-in desk in jeans & a t-shirt with a huge rucksack on your back and ask if there is any possibility of a free upgrade to business class and you’ll be greeted with a polite ‘fuck off’. Dress to impress so that you fit in with the other businessmen and ask the same question: Your chances just shot up. I’m not saying I know the ins and outs of airlines now, but allow me to enlighten you; my seat to America this summer was 4.5 inches wider than what I’d paid for.
